Interconnect

Cables, transceivers and breakout assemblies for Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics from any maker. Passive copper DAC (MCP series) draws no power and adds the least latency, but reaches only about 3m at 100Gb/s and above. Active optical cables (MFA series) cover roughly 3m to 100m at higher cost and fixed length. Standalone transceivers (MMA, MMS) pair with existing structured fibre. Splitters fan one port into four — QSFP28 to 4x SFP28, QSFP+ to 4x SFP+ — but the switch port must be set to breakout mode and FEC must match both ends. Filter by connector, speed and length below.
